Ingredients

lard
1-1/2 cup oleo
2
cup
sugar

tsp
salt

raisins
3/4
cup
milk
use sour cream to make more moist
3
eggs

tsp
baking powder

tsp
nutmeg

flour
Instructions
Batter
Put milk (or sour cream) and flour in alternately.
Mix oleo and sugar
Drop in eggs one at a time, mixing well
Measure flour and sift together with salt, baking powder, and nutmeg.
Add some flour, then some milk, then more flour, etc
Add Raisins.
Cooking
Put plenty of flour on board to roll out
Put in 2 or 3 groups and put on floured wax paper. Roll into a roll and refrigerate over night.
Preheat electric frying pan to 340 degrees (low-medium)
Fry without grease until it starts to dry up like a pancake.
Flip and repeat.
Sprinkle with sugar while hot.
